Attendees and hospital supporters enjoyed an extraordinary arts and artifacts collection viewing during this year’s brunch fundraiser for the The Methodist DeBakey Heart & Vascular Center. The art collection included renowned names such as Picasso, Rembrandt, Renoir, Dali, Durant and Dürer. The collection incorporated everything from weaponry, surgical tools and precious gems to religious items across the ages, numbering over 5,000 objects in total. Proceeds will benefit the multidisciplinary center of excellence dedicated to research, education, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of heart and vascular diseases.
