On September 9, the Houston Food Bank in collaboration with Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston, will host an Interfaith Day of Service in commemoration of 9/11.  This event will bring together congregations from Houston’s diverse faith community to share in a day of service to our community.  The event will begin with a short program in which the youth from various houses of worship will read scripture from their respective text on the subject of service and volunteerism followed by a service project.  The Interfaith Day of Service is open to the public.  To register for this event please email Ashley Cousan at acousan@houstonfoodbank.org or call 713-547-8604.
